When Bread of Life Church engaged SU to run a holiday programme in November 2019, little did they expect the birth of BOLTZ , as a fellowship group Magdalene, Emmanuel, Joshua, Isaiah, Amos and Cyrus, aged between 13-16 years old, enjoyed the friendship forged and shared a common craving - the Word of God.
The first fellowship session began at Prodigal Café, with a lesson on ‘servant-hood’ where they were tasked to clean up Prodigal Café. This was to be followed by a special treat by the café owner with coffee and dessert; what a treat!
Since then, the group has journeyed together and has enjoyed many wonderful memories: outreach volunteer work at AWWA, Bible Study sessions, having fun via TikTok challenges and conducting social distancing fellowship on Zoom, when the lockdown commenced.
