“Knowing God Profoundly” Online Bible Conference

The Bible Conference organized by Scripture Union Singapore on 23 May 2020 was ground-breaking-history-making. We remain thankful and greatly encouraged by the overwhelming response to see people Zooming from different time zones and around the globe, just to hear His Word.
Keynote speaker Jose Philip from Ravi Zacharias International Ministries (RZIM) brought a wealth of wisdom with words of challenge, hope and truth:
1. The glorious truth of the Gospel – Jesus invites us to come to Him and see if He is indeed who he claims to be.
2. The often-ignored truth of the Gospel – Jesus invites us to talk to Him, because “When we don’t seek to know Jesus more today than we did yesterday, He will be less relevant to us tomorrow than He is today.”
3. The most liberating truth of the Gospel – God is with us, He will never leave nor forsake us.
Michael Yong representing Singapore Youth for Christ dived deep into Matthew’s genealogy, citing biblical characters such as Abraham, David and Mary who played pivotal roles in the fulfillment of God’s promise of a Messiah & King as well as unsung heros - Tamar, Rahab, Ruth, wife of Uriah etc. Stephen Chan explored the importance and challenges of “Purposeful Parenting” anchoring on Psalm 78:5-7. Last but not least, Rev PS Flora from SU Children’s Minitsry shared about “Raising a Generation that loves Christ and makes him known”
